Product managers
Our product managers are there to make solutions that support your approach to market. This team works closely with the engineering teams across Telstra to understand new capabilities from our IT and infrastructure vendors. Where we see opportunities to apply these capabilities, we test these ideas with our customers before incorporating into our product roadmap.

Will Irving
CEO of Telstra InfraCo & Wholesale

Will Irving has been Group Executive of Telstra Wholesale since April 2016 and is responsible for Telstra’s relationships with its Wholesale Customers: telcos, ICT providers and retailers and others who buy communications and networked application services and directly or indirectly use or on-sell them under their own brands.


Telstra Wholesale is also responsible for key elements of Telstra’s relationship with nbn co™ and a mix of regulatory and government service obligations. Prior to Telstra Wholesale, Will had a brief period as the Acting GE of Telstra Retail following on from his role as Group Managing Director of Telstra Business from August 2011 to March 2016. At Telstra Business, he was responsible for revenues of $4.9 Billion and Telstra’s relationships with over one million Australian small and medium sized enterprises.

Before that, Will was Telstra’s Group General Counsel from January 2005 to August 2011. He played a key role in Telstra’s $11B nbn deal and in the T3 Telstra privatisation, and was the Australian Corporate Lawyer of the Year in 2006. Will joined Telstra in 1997 from King & Wood Mallesons and headed legal teams in Wholesale, International, Technology and Operations prior to being Deputy Group General Counsel from 2001 - 2005.

Will has served on NFP boards in corporate law and access to pro-bono legal services and is currently on the Advisory Board of the Melbourne University Law School. He previously chaired Telstra’s Gender Diversity Council and has been a White Ribbon Ambassador.

Will has degrees in Commerce and in Law (Hons) from the University of Melbourne. Will has four school aged children and just manages to find time to run an annual half-marathon
