NBN Rollout Schedule
The NBN Rollout Schedule sets out the disconnection and related dates that apply in respect of the National Broadband Network rollout (NBN).
Under the initiative, a multi-technology mix of fibre to the premises (FTTP), fibre to the basement (FTTB) fibre to the node (FTTN) and Hybrid Fibre Coaxial Cable (HFC) will be rolled out, on a region-by-region basis, to 92% of Australia's premises.
As the NBN rollout occurs on a region by region basis, there will be an 18 month period from the Region Ready for Service Date until the Disconnection Date.
Some services are initially exempted from disconnection from the Telstra Copper network and will remain on the Telstra Copper network for now.
Copper Cease Sale
Once Cease Sale takes effect, in most instances, we will no longer be able to supply new copper services, churn or transfer copper services to premises within these regions which are NBN serviceable.
Order Stability Period
The purpose of the Order Stability Period is to facilitate migration to the NBN in an orderly and robust manner.
