Our Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) enables simultaneous transfer of voice, IP, data and video on the one network.

ATM gives you the network infrastructure to develop your own and user networks. Our ATM service can handle heavy, constant traffic meaning you can optimise bandwidth demand.

ATM is ideal for network builders, major carriers and ISPs and enables access to our broadband products plus aggregated delivery of other products such as Wholesale Business DSL (BDSL), Telstra Wholesale Internet (TWI) and MegaPoP.

  • A variable bit rate service that allows heavy traffic transmission and enhances burstability. The peak burst rate is typically set at twice the sustained rate, which suits most data applications and saves you money. 
  • Inclusion of meshing as part of the service meaning you don’t need a separate physical termination for each communication link. Links connecting multiple offices can terminate on one interface for simplified, less costly connectivity.
  • Scalability so that you aren’t forced to migrate to another carriage product when business growth demands extra capacity or bandwidth.
