Wholesale Carrier Grade Ethernet is our premium Ethernet transmission service, provided over our proven, national transmission infrastructure. It provides seamless incremental bandwidth scalability starting at 2Mbps, which means any changes to capacity requirements can be rapidly managed with virtually no service disruption. It offers a cost-effective, fast and versatile platform delivering greater efficiency through the convergence of voice, data and video over a single platform.
Wholesale Carrier Grade Ethernet is the ultimate foundation to deliver individual ethernet services individually, or to further enhance specialised IP/Ethernet service infrastructure.
There are currently two Carrier Grade Ethernet connectivity services offered by Telstra Wholesale:
- Point-to-Point and Aggregated, and
- Point-to-Multipoint.
Options are also available for performance levels and connectivity continuity.
