MegaPoP

If you are an Internet Service Provider (ISP) MegaPoP gives you dial-up network access to provide internet services to your customers. It provides carrier-grade dial-up access that is scalable and reliable, allowing you to outsource all or part of your dial-up access network requirements. MegaPoP can replace multiple ISDN services.

MegaPoP terminates dial-up PSTN/ISDN calls on Telstra dial gateways and delivers data traffic on those calls to ISP networks. It uses Layer 2 tunnelling and Telstra Wholesale ATM or Telstra Wholesale Business Grade Ethernet (BGE) for connection. Using only a single Telstra ATM or BGE connection to ISP premises, MegaPoP® makes internet access cost-effective and convenient for both you and your customers.
